Rick Lauer has represented healthcare entities for more than 20 years.  He has provided trusted legal counsel to manufacturers and distributors of prescription drugs and medical devices, pharmacies, logistics providers and health tech companies.  He has represented Opioid Treatment Programs as they navigate the complex state and federal laws, regulations and accreditation requirements that apply to their businesses.  He has extensive experience dealing with the FDA, DEA and state boards of pharmacy.   He has successfully counseled both buyers and sellers of healthcare entities in mergers and acquisitions.

Rick approaches any legal issue first from a practical and business-oriented point-of-view.  Serving as in-house General Counsel at one of the country's largest secondary drug wholesalers gave Rick the practical experience necessary to provide his clients the real-world, actionable legal advice they need to reach their business goals while complying with the law and minimizing risks.  

More recently, he had provided legal and regulatory advice to a publicly-traded cannabis company that operates cultivation facilities and dispensaries across the country.
